haunted ;
Day 1:
reported to sch at 710. briefing n stuff. n received the campers at 8 plus. icebreakers were fun! v v sporting ppl. mass dance!!! hahaha omg me n zhiming were dancing on the red platform on 1 side. itz realli cool la. can see everyone :D but the space is realli small. i almost fell off a few times la. n got once when i was running n was abt to jump back onto the platform.. i missed n my leg hit the platform.. the part above the knee. haha. retarded. now my leg has super cool patches of blue black.
i love my campers la. super cute. n markcus!!! hes so cute la. all the assumption english sch kids all v cute haha. markcus is like so shuai liao even though hes onli sec 2. haha. mr leow calls him markcus john lucas timothy. haha cos markcus has some identity prob. keeps calling himself diff names.
aftnn games in the evening were great. (previously we had aftnn games in the morning. n now aftnn games in the evening. ...) but it was realli pouring la. super duper cold lor summore im sick. haiyo but still had fun!
singing session was super great again. lead by mr leow, bryan n clara. n there was this song written n composed by leonard, bryan n zhongru.. wah damn nice la. i almost cried when they were singing it for the 1st time. woh n bryan sings tt song v v well. ah. singing sessions always makes the whole of 1st day!
nite games. fun man haha this time facs we din go into haunted house. onli campers. n there was 1 game i was particularly impressed wif them. the spider web. they had to go thru the holes in the raffia strings without touching the strings at all. each hole onli some can go thru la. so must carry ppl thru the rest of the holes. n itz like wah they realli v serious n do it v well de lo. great teamwork. great communication. great leadership. not like us la. tt time we play we anyhow ownself cross over. touch oso dun care haha.
Day 2:
pt! i was helping out for 1 of the stations lah. nothing much but it was cool =)
oh 1 diff thing abt this camp is tt we hafta attend lectures. haha. but they're good man. v well conducted by the council elects. on camp planning, conflict resolution n time management. but halfway during the lectures the facs were pulled out to tie water bombs. i cant stand chianlim la. he v irritating n extra. wah sian. haha.
mass dance!! was wif zhiming again. this time we 2 dance until wanna die la. cos this time dance on the ground den we v high. plus we danced so many times.. so v tired la. 1st time dance 5 colours in her hair i so not enthu lo haha. so many times la!
as the rest went for telematch i stayed in the hall wif the scdc n admin ppl. woh finalli got to see how they worked. yeah cos bryan pulled me out to help him wif the avac stuff. but the technician was setting up the stuff himself so i was randomly helping the council elects around. woh they had so much stuff to do la. all the decor. the way they work is bad. like they finish a roll of masking tape they just toss it on the floor. like ok.. haha. actualli quite ok la as long as they clear it up. the technician taught me to operate the thing aft he set up. ok la quite cool. but moving lights manual de sia. wahlao damn laopok.
haha. den he wanted payment la. eh so i had to wake bryan up who was slping backstage on the table behind the curtains in a slping bag. hahaha. wah i got a shock la. i thot he was dead leh. as in realli. cos i went there. i realli put my weight on him n shook him leh. wahlao no response at all 1 lor. i kept calling him like at his ear n told him the guy wanted payment but still no response. den i stopped to see if he was breathing. hahaha ya he was. den aft a while i poked him at his rib n he was like "tsk. please lah" haha. n den he mumbled "admin" n went back to slp. he pig 1 la haiya. the nite b4 he used his slping bag to cover the campers i think.. den he was slping on the stage wif a cardboard -.- so cold oso can slp wif cardboard.. but yeah he realli super tired la.
things got super rush later in the aftnn. esp the helium balloons part. wah big prob la. hafta hug the balloons den tie the strings n make sure they dun fly away. everything was super hectic cos we were running out of time. n aft balloons we had to do backdrop. form the words "line nite 06" wif light sticks on the black cloth. nice. had pretty stars on it too.
dinner was cool. there was satay!! =D oh ya all the meals r cool la. lunch on day 1 they had to sit in the circle.. den tie their hands wif the ppl on their 2 sides.. den they hafta eat together. find some way to coordinate. den got eat wif chopsticks.. got satay.. n today breakfast ate wif hand. .. haha but itz like.. eat the fried noodles wif hand leh. but itz definitely much easier than eating rice wif hand.
finalli line nite itself. it so so so so beautiful la. the stage n the front part of the hall there was made into a ship liddat. n the lights n the whole thing was just damn nice. even had oil barrels to make it seem realli like a ship. haiya i dunno how else to say. just too beautiful. haa of cos there was laser, moving lights n smoke machines operated by me. so yayy. it was cool to b sitting in the 'ship'. actualli ship cos theme of the camp is exodus: ties tt bind. so yeah actualli itz abt a journey. the camp is abt national education n stuff oso lah so trying to say t singapore's success is not a destination but a journey. so yupp.
anw everyone in the hall was damn high on the nite. there were the skits put up by our campers oso. woah i was so so so impressed la. just lost for words. they can realli perform.. they're way more high than all of us when they were cheering on the stage at tt time. like O.O super cool la. the emcees christina n chendi ku(cool) were superb too. great job man. but i was v v sad tt cldnt do mass dance. at 1st me n bryan wanted to just stand there n do de. haha but v weird mah onli 2 of us in front there below the stage doing. haha. n he was busy n i had to do the lights so ya cldnt. plus i wasnt realli high la. din cheer much. but song singing was great. i'll never forget those moments la. thanks to susian who came over to relieve us from boredom haha. he stuck so many light sticks in my hair la. so ya weiming chengxun me bryan susian n shaorong were sitting down arms over one another singing. i will never forget the feeling la. yeah.. haha v cool la all of them guys n all council elects n 1 councillor.. haha. n bryan just suddenly started crying la. o.O he told me he v sad cos the nite ending. yeah true la the scdc had put in sweat n blood for this nite.
tt was the last nite for us, the 2nd nite for the campers. wads the difference? the campers came in on fri.. it was their 2nd nite together. for us facs n council elects.. we've put in so much for the past weeks.. n this is like the finale kind of thing for us liao la. hai
the nite ended quite early la the campers got to slp b4 12. n aft our debrief we still had some time. so me n cheryl went up to the grandstand for star gazing. woah beautiful la. just laid there n chatted. den zhiming n banhao joined us too. haha. v fun. oh ya b4 tt damn funny la me n cheryl were talking abt zhiming. cos cheryl danced wif zhiming for line nite.. den she v blur mah so zhiming had to keep guiding her. den the way he guide v funny he will just tell her at tt moment wad to do haha. den he knocked her head accidentally.. ya he knocked mine too.. den ah he will grab our heads wif both hands.. shake it n say "sorry sorry". haha so funny la. cos cheryl was telling me abt it n i was like yahh!! cos he did tt to me too haha. but ya we both agree tt hes realli a v v v good dance partner la. this kind of thing v easy to tell 1. just from the way ur partner holds ur hands n like turning n stuff. ya. like zhiming he turn us ah woah quite firm la so yah kinda got the momentum de. v cool. haha. cos mass dance usualli ppl dun care 1 la.
anw the few of us went to the concourse sofas to slp. not bad i slept quite well. just tt everytime i open my eyes.. i will see everyone in another position each time. haha. funny.
day 3:
e web. i think it wasnt good. cos the rest of the f1 facs wanted to do in a family. too big a grp la. plus at concouse.. echo n noise pollution from the road. so v hard to hear. plus i think the mood wasnt set v well.
then final debrief. this time was like woah i think everyone cried la. a lot a lot of ppl cried like siao. as in realli realli cried v hard. including me lah. even the guys leh. seeing my camper crying so hard realli touched me. bcos mr leow was talking abt teachers n parents la. so yeah.. my tt camper is like onli sec 1 la. the youngest. ah. the topic abt parents is v v sensitive la. at 1st i cry until i was quite ok already leh. den i saw clara beside me who was crying so so so hard. bcos the topic abt parents realli hit her.. n i cldnt help but cry even harder la. so much emotions in everyone. aft tt as we got into our cgs.. we all hugged one another la. council elects too. n i had this camper who was still crying.. a v cool n funky malay boy la.. den he told me cos he just argued wif his parents.. woah den realli gave me quite a big impact. they're all realli good kids la.
hai i was realli damn sad tt the camp ended just like tt la. so soon. n a lot of us were so so sad partly bcos we dunno when we'll get to see one another again man. like we're all in diff schs.. hai. but still i felt better aft tt la. hugging so many ppl feels good haha. i love the council elects la. esp my dear ashley who keeps nagging at me to slp early at nite.. tt stupid bryan.. my orientation campers yilong n ziliang.. chiahoe who kept poking me at the ribs tt it hurts n keeps smiling at me spastically.. yupp n a lot a lot more of the funky guys n the cool girls. all of them rock la. thank u all n great job!
actualli ive got a lot more to say.. just a lot of thoughts n other random stuff la. but im too tired. n i think im realli dying. just had a nosebleed too. actualli im not mentally exhausted la. just physically. like can feel my neck breaking. so yupp off for now
